Solar Refund FAQs

1. Under what circumstances can I get a refund of my deposit?  

You can get a refund of your deposit in the following situations: 

  • If you cancel a sale within the cooling-off period as per the terms and conditions of the Provider. 
  • If the Provider fails to install the system within the agreed-upon target date, and you choose to terminate the agreement with the Provider. 
  • If the Provider informs you of a price increase, you decide to end the agreement with the Provider instead of accepting the price increase. 
  • If the grid connection approval is refused. 
  • If any of the quoted equipment becomes unattainable, and you do not agree to substitute it with equipment of similar quality. 
  • If the supply location is not suitable for installation or supplying the Solar Products  

2. Can I use any payment method to make the deposit? 

We only accept credit card payments.   

3. How can I cancel a sale?  

To cancel a sale before the cooling off period ends, you can contact the Provider directly to initiate the cancellation process, or you can reach out to us for assistance. To cancel through us, you can either call our customer support team at 1300365767 or email us at [email protected]

4. What happens after I request a sale cancellation?  

If you request the cancellation through us and are eligible for the refund, we will promptly process the refund and inform the Provider within 48 hours.  

If you cancel the sale through the Provider, we will process the refund within 48 hours once we receive the sale cancellation confirmation from the Provider. 

The release can take up to 10 Business Days to revert the amount into your chosen account.  

5. Can I cancel the confirmed sale? 

Can I cancel a confirmed sale? Yes, you can cancel the confirmed sale. You can contact the provider directly to initiate the cancellation process, or you can reach out to us for assistance. To cancel through us, you can either call our customer support team at 1300365767 or email us at [email protected]

6. What is a confirmed sale? 

When you sign the contract with the Provider for the Solar system installation or for providing the solar products, the sale will be considered confirmed sale between you and the Provider. The cooling-off period will start from the next day . 

7. When a cooling off period will start? 

The cooling-off period will start the next day after you have signed the contract with the Provider. 

8. How long does it take to receive a refund after the cancellation request? 

The refund of the deposit can take up to 10 business days from the time you receive the refund confirmation email or message. Please note that the exact timing may vary depending on your original payment mode. 

9. Can I track the progress of my cancellation request?  

Yes, you can contact our customer support team at any time to inquire about the progress of your cancellation request. We will be happy to provide you with updates and answer any questions you may have. 

10. What if I change my mind after requesting a cancellation? 

If you change your mind after requesting a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist you, but please note that once the cancellation request is processed and confirmed with the Provider, it may no longer be possible to reverse the cancellation. 

11. Are there any fees associated with cancelling a sale?  

During the cooling-off period, cancelling a sale does not result in additional charges. However, once a sale is confirmed, cancellation is strictly a matter between you and the Provider. Please be aware that the provider may have their own cancellation policies, including potential fees or penalties. We recommend reviewing the terms and conditions or contacting the provider for further details. 

If the cancellation of confirmed sales is approved by the Provider, we will process the refund within 48 hours of receiving the confirmation from the Provider. The release can take up to 10 Business Days to revert the amount into your chosen account. 

12. What happens if the Provider does not acknowledge my cancellation request? 

If the Provider does not acknowledge your cancellation request within the specified timeframe, please notify us immediately. We will work with you and the Provider to resolve the issue and ensure a satisfactory resolution.  

13. Can I cancel a sale after the product has been delivered?  

Cancellation policy may vary depending on the Provider and the specific circumstances. We recommend reviewing the Provider’s terms and conditions of the sale or contacting the Provider directly to determine if cancellation is possible after delivery. In such cases, additional fees or conditions may apply. 

14. Can I get a refund post the cooling-off period?  

The refund posts the cooling-off period is strictly a matter between you and the Provider. We are not directly involved in the refund process.  

15. What happens if the Provider determines that the supply location is not suitable, and the supply of Solar Products cannot proceed? 

If the Provider determines that the supply location is not suitable and notifies us , we will refund any Deposit taken by us. Please note that our liability to provide you with a refund is limited to the amount of the Deposit taken by us and not the entire value of the Confirmed Sale. 

16. Is the Deposit refundable in all circumstances?  

No, to the maximum extent permitted by law, any Deposit paid by you to us is non-refundable in all other circumstances, except for the situations mentioned below: 

  • If you cancel a Sale within the cooling-off period as per the terms and conditions of the Provider. 
  • If the Provider fails to install the system within the agreed-upon target date, and you choose to terminate the agreement with the Provider. 
  • If the Provider informs you of a price increase, you decide to end the agreement with the Provider instead of accepting the price increase. 
  • If the grid connection approval is refused. 
  • If any of the quoted equipment becomes unattainable, and you do not agree to substitute it with equipment of similar quality. 
  • If the supply location is not suitable for installation or supplying the Solar Products
